The International Conference on Law, Justice and Global Development aims to study how law shapes, facilitates and challenges economic, political and cultural exclusion in a fragmented legal and political landscape.

Our event will be held on May 29th, 2018 and will feature an invited Lecturer and Working Groups on the methodological challenges raised by the rule of law on global development yielding consequences on social justice.

Working Groups

We are pleased to invite contributions from lawyers and non-lawyers, early-career scholars and PhD researchers whose work examines pervasive inequalities in local and global context.

Conference Venue

The conference will be held at the JW Marriott Miami Conference Room, located in the heart of Brickell – Miami’s hot destination for dining, shopping, and nightlife and is located a short walk away from the city’s newest shopping and entertainment destination, Brickell City Centre. The conference venue is not far from all that Miami has to offer including the Perez Art Museum, Frost Science Museum, Adrienne Arsht Center, Port of Miami, South Beach, Coral Gables, Coconut Grove and Miami International Airport.
